Long-Distance Transport
Going out of the area? We handle long-distance medical trips anywhere in California with the same care as a local ride.
Door-through-door, not curb-to-curb.
Most transport companies stop at the curb. We don't. Our drivers come to your door, help you from inside your home or facility into the vehicle, secure you properly, and walk you in at the other end — right up to check-in. Coming home from a procedure, we get you back inside.
That difference matters most on the days you feel worst.

This is what shows up.
Not a stock photo. Our actual vans, our actual equipment, at the places we actually go.

Wheelchair securement โ floor tie-downs, shoulder belts, hydraulic lift.

Hydraulic lift deployed at a facility entrance โ we come to the door, not the curb.

A real fleet โ not one van and a hope.

Hospital discharge, after dark. We are open 24 hours.

Common questions.
Who provides gurney transport for a hospital discharge?
Gold Mountain Transport provides gurney and stretcher transport for hospital and facility discharges across Placer, Sacramento, and Nevada counties. We are open 24 hours a day, including nights and weekends. Call (530) 485-5113.
Do you handle wheelchair discharges?
Yes. We handle discharges at every level: gurney and stretcher, wheelchair and wheelchair-XL, and ambulatory (sedan). Our vans have hydraulic lifts and full floor securement.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 24 to 48 hours in advance where possible, but we take same-day and urgent requests whenever we have a vehicle available. Discharges are often same-day, and we plan for that.
What is door-through-door service?
Our driver helps you from inside your home or facility, into the vehicle, secures you properly, and walks you in at your destination โ right up to check-in. Curb-to-curb service leaves you at the sidewalk. We do not.
Do you provide dialysis transportation?
Yes. We run standing weekly dialysis schedules โ same route, same time, three days a week โ across Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Folsom, Loomis, and the surrounding communities.
Do you do long-distance medical transport?
Yes. We handle long-distance medical trips anywhere in California, including out-of-area hospital transfers and returns home, with the same securement and the same driver throughout.
Where we drive.
Based in Loomis, serving Placer, Sacramento and Nevada counties โ plus long-distance medical trips anywhere in California.
For facilities, case managers & discharge planners.
If you're discharging patients and need a transport partner who shows up when they said they would, we'd like to talk. We handle recurring schedules without you having to chase us every week โ and we work with brokers, facilities, and private-pay families.
Why we started this.
Gold Mountain Transport was founded by Ramases Gousheh and his wife, Andrea. Ramases spent more than 14 years as a licensed flight and ambulance paramedic. Working alongside hospital and emergency room staff, he saw the same problem again and again: seniors and people with mobility challenges struggling to get to their appointments safely and on time.
So we do it differently. Rather than curb-to-curb, we escort riders from inside their home or facility to the vehicle, and walk them in at the other end. Rather than chasing volume, we focus on showing up when we said we would.
If we say we'll be there at 8:15, we'll be there at 8:15. That's the whole promise.
